"Live where others spend their holidays"

In April 2019 we, Jacqueline and Markus, took over ARCTIC GLAS, which was founded in 2009 by Uta Fransson.

 

We were born and grew up in Switzerland, in the canton of Friborg. Together we have three daughters with whom we lived in a small hamlet in Tafers.

Curiosity about the cold of the north led us to Swedish Lapland for the first time in 2016. This stay was followed by another one, as well as three weeks of winter in the Yukon, where we finally succumbed to the magic of winter.

In 2018, the all-important link “Live where others go on holiday” followed. In Renvallen 104 in Arvidsjaur, idyllically located on Svärdälven, we found our new home and learned the existing craft.

We love living here with our six huskies. We love the peace, nature, winter and the long summer evenings. We love our work, our little shop and look forward to everything that is to come....
